Long Term Recovery Group

Who is Involved

All disasters start local and end local.
Long Term Recovery Groups are formed by local individuals, non profits, businesses, faith based organizations, donors and volunteers who share in the goal to help their community recover and build back stronger than before.

Why Are Long Term Recovery Groups Needed

We are stronger together…

Following disasters, LTRG’s provide a centralized recovery effort focused on the served community. Working together LTRGs work to ensure no one falls through the gaps by: assess community needs, gather material and financial resources, networking with external organizations for resources and knowledge, ensure clients are vetted and receive proper disaster case management, and distribute available resources to meet community needs.
